So during my time as a struggling grad student, I realized that cooking at home was far more affordable than grabbing food from a restaurant. I also realized that this was also a healthier option. While in school, my mother gifted me with the holy grail of easy cooking… a Bella pressure cooker. Now, she personally has an Instant Pot, which is pretty much the staple name when thinking of pressure cookers. But there are many other amazing and more cost-effective pressure cookers out there. I recently found a Kalorik 6.25QT Pressure Cooker that is on sale on Alphabet Deals. Once you have your pressure cooker, the possibilities are endless!

One of my favorite things to cook in my Bella is chicken breast. It’s so easy to make and they come out wonderfully every time. What I love most about cooking in a pressure cooker is the time it saves me. You can cook three completely frozen chicken breast in 11 minutes. And here’s how.

1.     Place your chicken breast in the bottom of your pot, add your seasoning and line the bottom of your pot with some water.

2.     Secure the lid on and make sure your pressure valve is closed.

3.     Press “pressure cook” and set your timer to 11 minutes. After the 11 minutes are up, hit “cancel” and allow your pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes.

And that’s it! After the 10 minutes of natural pressure release, open up the pressure valve all the way and then when there’s no more air coming out, safely open your pressure cooker! Enjoy!
